In Ashgabat, at the “Ta-Tal” Theatre, a concert of a new creative group, the “Melodiya” Orchestra, took place to a full house.

As reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age, the orchestra is led by international competition laureate Annaoraz Dovletov, who dedicated this debut to the memory of Jemal Muhammedova, a cello teacher at the Special Music Boarding School of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva.

The concert was hosted by Ekaterina Darchiya. In the first part of the concert, listeners were introduced to the life of Jemal Muhammedova. The story was accompanied by a performance of works thematically related to the events in the life of the talented cellist.

The second part of the concert featured Jemal Muhammedova's favorite musical works, including pieces by Aman Agajikov, Georgy Sviridov, Valery Gavrilin, John Williams, Arno Babajanyan, and others.

During the concert, Jemal Muhammedova's daughter and son, as well as fellow teachers, spoke.

Annoraz Dovletov, director of the new “Melodiya” Orchestra, noted that the ensemble's immediate plans include a celebratory concert for International Women's Day.
