Turkmenistan is participating in the World Government Summit

A Turkmen delegation led by Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov is participating in the World Government Summit, which is taking place in Dubai from February 3 to 5, according to the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The summit is attended by more than 30 heads of state and government, as well as 150 government delegations and approximately 6 thousand participants, including executives of global companies, representatives of international financial institutions and educational institutions.

The summit's agenda includes issues of global governance, the development of artificial intelligence technologies, climate change, and coordinated approaches to addressing economic challenges.

Speaking at the session "The Future of Global Alliances," Meredov outlined Turkmenistan's approach to resolving pressing issues facing the global community. It was noted that Turkmenistan advocates for coordinated cooperation between states based on respect for international law, consideration of mutual interests, and harnessing the potential of each country for sustainable development.

This approach is reflected in concrete actions, the Foreign Minister emphasized. Turkmenistan supports constructive multilateral cooperation, calling for a responsible approach, predictability, and openness.

During the presentation, specific mechanisms for developing partnerships were outlined, including effective public administration, expert knowledge sharing, and unlocking countries' economic potential through connectivity.

The World Government Summit continues.
