A delegation from the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Chairman M. Muhammedov, paid a working visit to the Russian Federation from December 14–18 to discuss the current state and prospects of bilateral customs cooperation. This was reported on the Service's website.
The parties paid special attention to the preparation and approval of a Joint Action Plan for further cooperation between the Federal Customs Service of Russia and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan for 2026–2028, which provides for the development of partnerships in digitalization, information exchange, law enforcement, and personnel training.
The Turkmen delegation visited the Electronic Declaration Center of the Moscow Customs Office, the Russian Customs Academy, and the Canine Center of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
