Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov awarded 10 young pop and amateur singers with commemorative silver badges "For the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality." The State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.
The award recipients were:
Govher Hojimyradova, vocalist of the “Galkynyş” folklore ensemble of the "Işçi iýmiti üpjünçiligi we hyzmatlar" Cultural and Business Management Center of the State Concern “Türkmengaz”;
Dovran Shammyev, teacher at the 4th Children's Art School of the Ashgabat City Department of Culture;
Bagul Mashadova, a teacher at the Saha Jepbarov Specialized School of Arts in Arkadag;
Rahymgeldi Kyyasov, an actor at the Aman Gulmammedov State Drama Theater in Arkadag;
Serdar Charyev, a third-year student in the Faculty of Cultural Heritage at the Turkmen State Institute of Culture;
Munisa Khudaibergenova, a second-year student in the Orchestral Instruments Department at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory;
Guljemal Taylyeva, a fifth-year student in the Folk Music Department at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory;
Mahri Hojakova, a third-year student in the Banking Department at the Turkmen State Institute of Finance;
Shatlyk Gurbannazarov, a performer with the pop orchestra of the Ahal Velayat Cultural Center;
Gozel Hojaeva, a teacher at the Children's Art School in Turkmenbashy, Balkan velayat.
The decree notes that the awards were presented for outstanding achievements in honorably celebrating, through contemporary songs and melodies, the significance of large-scale measures implemented in the country, the happy life of the Turkmen people, national traditions and customs, ancient values, and unique cultural heritage, as well as on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's acquisition of permanent neutrality.
