The final meeting of the Turkmen-Austrian Society for 2025 was held today at the “Yyldyz” hotel.
The meeting was held in a hybrid format, with members from both the Turkmen and Austrian sides participating.
In her speech, the head of the Society, Neda Berger, noted that the establishment of the Society in 2008 was directly linked to the first official visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to Austria, placing particular emphasis on the significant joint projects implemented under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan in the field of culture and information exchange.
Turkmen speakers noted with satisfaction the high level of Turkmen-Austrian relations, built on the principles of mutual trust and respect for each other's interests.
During the meeting, a number of key issues aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding the Society's activities were considered and discussed, including the development of mutually beneficial economic partnerships and strengthening cultural cooperation.
In honor of the 17th anniversary of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, the achievements of several of its members were recognized.
