Turkmenistan's Minister of Construction and Architecture, Abdulla Geldiyev, spoke at the plenary session of the Big 5 Global 2025 international exhibition in Dubai, presenting the country's strategic vision for sustainable urban development and infrastructure modernization. He emphasized the key role of public policy in urban renewal and the implementation of innovative technologies.
Within the framework of the working program, the Turkmen delegation held talks with representatives of the UAE government and the international business community. Participants included Yousef Abdullah Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Federal Infrastructure and Projects of the UAE; Matt Denton, President of dmg events; Brandi Scott, Chair of the Global Leaders' Summit; and executives from leading construction and engineering corporations.

The parties discussed expanding cooperation, digitalizing construction processes, developing BIM platforms, and improving industry efficiency. They placed particular emphasis on trade and economic opportunities, including increasing exports of Turkmen glass and building materials to the Persian Gulf region.
The delegation also held consultations with EPC contractors, developers, equipment manufacturers, and international architectural firms. Representatives from Turkmenistan visited exhibits from Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and China, which showcased innovations in modular construction, energy-efficient materials, and intelligent city management systems.
International companies noted Ashgabat's systematic approach to developing the construction industry and the rapid pace of industry reforms. Big 5 Global participants praised the CIET 2025 conference held in Avaza and received invitations to CIET 2026, scheduled for November next year.
Turkmenistan's participation in the exhibition was organized with the assistance of the Turkmen Energy Forum (TEF).
