On November 16, a new hotel opened in Dubai, becoming the tallest in the world, according to the Emirati publication The National.
The building's height is 377 meters, 21 meters higher than the previous record, also held by a Dubai hotel. The new property includes 1004 rooms spread over 82 floors. A swimming pool is available for guests on the 76th floor, and a terrace with a lounge area is located on the 81st floor.
Dubai continues to lead the world in high-rise hotel construction—eight of the world's ten tallest operating hotels are located in the emirate. One of the city's most famous hotels, the Burj Al Arab, stands at 321 meters.
