1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated his compatriots on World Health Day. "World Health Day occupies a special place in the national calendar, affirming the high ideals of friendship and peace, sports and humanism and symbolizing the unity and cohesion of society. Therefore, on the warm days of spring, this holiday is widely and with great enthusiasm celebrated in our beloved Fatherland," the head of state noted.
2. On the morning of April 7, a mass bike ride dedicated to World Health Day took place in Ashgabat. Foreign diplomats also took part in the sporting event, which was headed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The cyclists' route ran from the Health Path along Archabil avenue, then north from the roundabout at the intersection of Archabil and Bitarap Turkmenistan avenues, along Bitarap Turkmenistan avenue to the Ruhiyet Palace.
3. In the first three months of 2025, Turkmenistan's economy demonstrated steady growth - the gross domestic product increased by 6,3% compared to the same period last year. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov presented a report on macroeconomic indicators at a regular government meeting. According to the report, positive dynamics are observed in all key sectors of the economy.

4. The state concern "Türkmennebit" exceeded the planned oil production figures by 7,1% for January-March 2025. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov during a regular government meeting. According to the presented report, the country's fuel and energy sector demonstrated positive dynamics in all key areas.
5. The Head of the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation Ramzan Kadyrov sent a congratulatory message to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the Oraza holiday. 6. The working visit of the Turkmen delegation led by the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova to Uzbekistan has begun. The Turkmen delegation is taking part in the 150th Anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (UIP), which is being held in Tashkent from April 5 to 9. The forum is attended by parliamentarians from almost 140 countries, as well as members of delegations from 50 international organizations.

2. According to the latest data, the death toll from the powerful earthquake in Myanmar has reached 3564 people. According to official information, 5012 people were injured in the natural disaster that occurred on March 28. Another 210 people are missing. The earthquake caused serious damage to the country's infrastructure. Rescue and search operations are ongoing in the affected regions.
