1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the discharge of conscripts into the reserve and the call-up of new recruits in April-June 2025. According to the document, male citizens of Turkmenistan who have reached the age of 18, as well as persons under the age of 27 who have lost the right to a deferment, will be called up for military service.
2. The Government of Turkmenistan has approved a proposal to send Turkmen students to higher education institutions in Romania for the 2025-2026 academic year in the following specialties: information technology, health care and medical sciences, education and pedagogical sciences, agriculture and agricultural sciences, engineering, technology and technical sciences, mathematics and natural sciences.

3. From March 17 to 19, the capital of Turkmenistan will host an international fashion show. 4. From March 19, a special bus route No. 72 will start operating in Ashgabat in the direction of Avtokombinat - Türkmeniň ak öýi ("White Yurt of the Turkmens"). This route is being introduced to provide transport services to citizens during the celebration of International Novruz Day. 2. A surgical team from the Fourth Military Medical University Hospital in Xi'an has successfully performed the first pig kidney transplant in Asia on a 69-year-old woman. Six days after the operation, the woman's body did not reject the donor organ, and her blood biochemistry returned to normal. The kidney used for the transplant was from a genetically modified pig with several edited genes.
