1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular government meeting via videoconference, where a number of relevant issues of state life were considered. After hearing the reports, the head of state gave specific instructions and directions to the leaders regarding work in various sectors of the country, tasks for the further development of industries and international relations.
3. On March 18, Turkmenistan will host the International Forum on Attracting Investments into the Private Sector “Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan”. The event was organized by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the “TMT Consulting Group” company. The forum will become a key platform for discussing the country's investment potential.
4. India is interested in cooperation between Bollywood and the Oguzhan “Turkmenfilm” Association. This was stated by the Indian Ambassador to Ashgabat Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat at the opening of the Indian Film Festival in Ashgabat. The Indian Film Festival is being held in “Ashgabat” from January 24 to 26. Indian films are shown in the Ashgabat Cinema, and an exhibition telling the history of Indian cinema is organized in the lobby.

7. The meeting of the foreign ministers of Central Asian countries and the European Union will be held in Ashgabat in March. This was announced by Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Mahri Byshimova during a briefing. She recalled that the 19th meeting of the heads of the foreign policy departments of the EU and Central Asian countries was held in Luxembourg in October 2023. Following its results, the 20th meeting is scheduled for March of this year in Ashgabat. In addition, Bashimova added that the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian Countries and the EU will be held in Turkmenistan on April 7-8. The event will discuss issues of women's participation in business, economics, education, medicine and politics.

8. Japanese company Asahi Shuzo is preparing to release sake brewed in space. The cost of one bottle will be 100 million yen, which is equivalent to 641 thousand USD. The production includes the preparation of the wort on the International Space Station in cooperation with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and the Center for Industry, Science and IT Technologies. After the space stage is completed, the wort will be delivered back to Earth.

10. Turkmenistan youth team striker Denis Titov made his debut for the Russian football club “Rostov” in a friendly match against Uzbek “Sogdiana”.
