At a government meeting chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Deputy Prime Minister M. Mamedova presented a plan of key events for February 2025, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

Conferences, creative meetings, briefings and concert events are planned in the regions of the country, including the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, to mark the announcement of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust” and Diplomatic Workers’ Day. The editorial boards of newspapers and magazines will announce various creative competitions.

Among the key events of the month is the holding of the Universiade and Spartakiad “Turkmenistan – a country of inspiration and health” among students of higher, secondary vocational educational institutions and schoolchildren. There will also be a gala conference “Täze taryhy döwrüň dünýä nusgalyk ösüşleri Arkadagly Gahryman Serdarymyzyň baş ýörelgesi”, an exhibition of fine arts “Sungat – parahatçylygyň dili” and a conference “Milli ýörelgelerimiz nesil terbiýesinde” and “Türkmen Bitaraplygy – halkara parahatçylygyň we durnukly ösüşiň kepili”.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure a high level of preparation and implementation of all planned events.
