On November 3, a large-scale International Conference CIET 2024 commenced in Ashgabat, bringing together leading representatives of the construction, industrial, and energy sectors.

The event is attended by high-ranking government officials of Turkmenistan: Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov, Minister of Industry and Construction Production Toyguly Nurov, and Minister of Finance and Economy Serdar Jorayev.

Among the distinguished guests of the conference are leaders of major international companies: Chairman of the Board of Çalık Holding Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of Rönesans Holding Erman Ilicak, and Chairman of Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd Chong Wanju. Japanese business is represented by Tanaka Masakazu (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) and Yasunori Sakamoto (Mitsubishi Corporation). Alexander Matzinger (Gertner Group) and Colin Nelson (LIAMOL TRADING GmbH) are also participating in the forum.

The three-day conference program includes discussions of new investment projects in electricity, construction, and industry, signing of memorandums and contracts, seminars, and roundtables. Special attention will be paid to the second phase of construction of the smart city Arkadag.

The event also features an exhibition showcasing the latest achievements and innovative technologies in Turkmenistan's construction industry.
