In the Darganata etrap, meetings were held with employees of various institutions and enterprises, organized by the Lebap velayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCS).
Specialists from healthcare institutions were also involved in the work, Jeyhun.news reports.
During conversations with local workers, issues of maintaining health in conditions of high heat were discussed. It was recommended that on very hot days not to be exposed to the scorching rays of the sun, and when leaving the room to wear hats and use umbrellas to protect from the sun.
Interview participants were also reminded of the importance of staying hydrated. The NRCPT specialist and doctors explained the need to drink clean drinking water and green tea to maintain the body’s water balance.
It was also told how to provide first aid for sunstroke and heatstroke.
