President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a government meeting, announced the need to create a State Commission to prepare for the celebration of the International Year of Peace and Trust, which was declared by the UN General Assembly on the initiative of Turkmenistan for 2025, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The head of state emphasized the importance of proper organization of the upcoming celebrations of national importance on the occasion of this international event. The commission, which will include members of the Government, will be responsible for coordinating all organizational issues.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that various forums and events planned in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust in 2025 will help increase the authority of independent neutral Turkmenistan on the world stage.
