Football players of the Qatar national team defeated the team of Tajikistan in the group stage of the Asian Cup. The match was held at “Al Bayt” stadium and ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the home team.
The only goal was scored by Qatari national team striker Akram Afif in the 17th minute. Thanks to this victory, Qatar gained 6 points and guaranteed themselves access to the playoff stage of the tournament.
In another group A match, China and Lebanon drew 0:0. After two rounds, Qatar is in the lead in the standings, China is in second place (2 points), and Tajikistan is in third place (1 point). Lebanon has no points yet.
