1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a working trip to the Balkan velayat, blessed the start of construction of a new combined cycle power plant with a capacity of 1574 megawatts. The new power plant will be built in the Turkmenbashy etrap and will become one of the largest energy facilities in the country. It will be equipped with four gas turbines and two steam turbines manufactured by General Electric.
2. “Turkmenistan” Airlines announced the resumption of passenger flights to Abu Dhabi. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said this at a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev within the framework of the working visit of the Turkmen delegation to Astana to participate in the 10th Summit of the Heads of State of the OTS.
4. President of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Allaberdy Ashirov represented the country at the first meeting of the subcommittee on scientific and technical partnership of the Turkmen-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee. The meeting participants assessed the current state of scientific, technical and innovative activities of Turkmenistan and China, and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were considered.

At the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Astana, the National Leader of the Turkmen people spoke in favor of expanding multilateral cooperation in the field of culture. “I would like to note that cultural and humanitarian relations occupy an important place on the agenda of multilateral cooperation between Turkic states that have similar histories, cultures, languages and traditions”, - noted the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
