The aerated concrete production plant is one of the leading enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, meeting the country's needs for the necessary products for the construction of facilities for various purposes.
The enterprise, located in the town of Ovadandepe, in the industrial zone of Ahal velayat, was put into operation on October 13, 2010, becoming the country's first manufacturer of aerated concrete blocks. Its annual design capacity is designed to produce 144 thousand m³ of aerated concrete products.
The plant operates primarily on local raw materials necessary for the production of aerated concrete blocks. Quartz sand, cement, lime and gypsum come in sufficient quantities from the country's fields and enterprises. The high quality of products is ensured by the use of modern equipment for the autoclave production method from leading European manufacturers, which permits increasing the strength of the material.
Aerated concrete is an innovative, very lightweight, easy to process material with excellent thermal insulation properties. Structures made from it have a number of significant advantages compared to traditional building materials. Aerated concrete blocks are distinguished by strength, durability, resistance to the external environment, fire safety, ease of laying and processing, convenience for any finishing work on buildings, and also, due to their closed porous structure, high moisture resistance.
Such qualities of aerated concrete products as a high level of sound insulation, structurally closed porosity, make them seismically resistant and safer, and also help reduce the weight of houses to a certain extent, and provide a huge opportunity to reduce the time of construction work.
In terms of thermal insulation qualities, a 30-centimeter layer of aerated concrete is equal to 75-90 centimeters of expanded clay concrete or over one and a half meters of brick. Aerated concrete wall materials are also 6-7 times lighter than other building materials, which permits them to keep houses warm in winter and cool on hot summer days.
Aerated concrete blocks are supplied to numerous construction sites in all regions of the country and are used in the construction of public and residential buildings and structures, enterprises and industrial infrastructure.
