1. The opening of the Days of Culture of Tatarstan was held at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. The first event of the creative forum was an exhibition of decorative and applied arts and souvenirs, as well as exclusive original works by leading Tatarstan masters. Then a concert of art masters of the Republic of Tatarstan took place on the stage of the Mukams Palace. The Turkmen audience saw performances by the State Folk Music Ensemble. The ancient Turkmen dance “kushtdepdi” performed by the artists was a real gift for the audience.

2. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Beijing to participate in the “One Belt, One Road” forum. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov together with his wife Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova took part in the official welcoming ceremony of the forum participants. The ceremony and group photography took place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In honor of the distinguished guests and members of their families, an official dinner was held on behalf of the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, during which cultural and artistic figures of the PRC made speeches.

3. A large delegation of representatives of Italian companies arrived in Ashgabat. The visit was organized by the Italian diplomatic mission in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in order to support the development of partnership between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

4. A delegation from the Korean Transport Institute visited Ashgabat within the framework of a tour of Central Asian countries and held meetings with representatives of a number of government departments responsible for the transport industry. Ways to strengthen cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea in the field of transport, including railway and road, were discussed. One of the meetings took place at the office of the “Turkmendemiryollary” Agency. The Korean side informed about its plans for possible participation in the implementation of various transport projects in Turkmenistan.

5. Ticket sales have started for the match of the 3rd round of the group stage of the 2023/24 AFC Cup “Merv” - “Altyn Asyr”. The game will be on Thursday, October 26, at the “Ashgabat” stadium.

6. The grand opening of a competitive exhibition dedicated to the national holiday - the Day of the Turkmen Alabai – was held in the exhibition hall of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. Over 250 works depicting the valiant Alabai were made in various genres: painting, graphics, sculpture, tapestry, design installations. The jury will sum up the results of the competition on the eve of the holiday itself, which this year is celebrated on October 29. The best works will be included in the general catalog, which the Academy will release by early December.

7. Xiaomi has officially introduced the new HyperOS operating system, which will become the successor to the popular MIUI shell. The full presentation of HyperOS will take place on October 27 along with the new line of flagship smartphones Xiaomi 14. According to company representatives, HyperOS firmware will gradually be distributed to all Xiaomi devices, replacing MIUI.

8. The new Spider-Man game Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which is three days away from its official release, has already won critical acclaim and the title of one of the best in history. According to critics, the new Spider-Man game has better graphics, greater scale and dynamics. There are two main characters in the game - Peter Parker and Miles Morales, both with unique abilities that affect the gameplay. The number of tasks and dynamic battles provide an exciting gameplay.

9. The Turkmenistan tennis team will start today in the Davis Cup with a match against the Kyrgyz team. In these competitions, Turkmen tennis players compete in group IV of the Asia and Oceania zone, the matches of which will be held in Antalya. 8 teams, divided into two subgroups, are fighting for the only place in the 3rd group. The Turkmenistan national team included: Meylis Orazmuhammedov, Yuri Rogussky, Atlymurad Kurbanov, Haji Charyev, Gurbanberdy Gurbanberdyev. The captain and head coach of the men's team is Mirali Hasanov.

10. In one of the episodes of the “Legends of Central Asia” program on the “Mir” 24 TV channel, they talked about Altymurad Orazdurdyev, a Turkmen weightlifter, three-time world champion, Olympic record holder, three-time European champion, Asian champion and Honored Master of Sports of the USSR. The film tells the story of the life and career of an athlete who achieved great success on the international stage and brought glory to his homeland.

11. The first round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament has ended in Asia, following which the Turkmenistan national team recognized the third opponent in group “E”. It was the Hong Kong team, which won the two-match confrontation with Bhutan. In the second stage of the selection, which starts on November 16, in addition to Hong Kong, Mergen Orazov’s team will play against Iran and Uzbekistan.
