1. Turkmenistan and China came to an agreement to expand energy cooperation and develop bilateral relations during a meeting of a high-ranking delegation of Turkmenistan with the Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China in Beijing. The meeting of the parties was held on the eve of the third Forum of International Cooperation within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, which will be held in the Chinese capital on October 18-19.

2. The second climate eco-festival was held in Ashgabat under the motto “Let's save the Earth together!” The event was aimed at attracting the attention of young people to caring for natural resources, rational use of natural resources and environmental protection. For the young participants of the event, robot battles took place in one of the sectors of the core. Eco-fest participants were told about proper waste sorting. A competent sorting process increases the chance of recycling plastic, paper, glass and metals, which makes it possible to eliminate the cost of their extraction.

3. A trip to the historical reserve “Ancient Merv” was organized for Turkish filmmakers who visited Turkmenistan within the framework of a cultural event. The excursion began from Big and Small Gyz-gala, where guests were provided with information about the rich history of these places. Then they visited the tombs of Hoja Yusup Hemedani and his companions. In front of the mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar, an exhibition of local artisans, as well as Turkmen national cuisine, was held for them.

4. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with a delegation from the Euronews news channel. During the meeting, the parties noted the fruitful cooperation that has developed over the past decade, within the framework of which a number of successful projects have been implemented. As a result of the meeting, a Partnership Agreement was signed between the “Turkmensvyz” Agency and Euronews.

5. Participants of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan arrived in Ashgabat. The creative force included leading soloists of the Republic, the State Folk Music Ensemble, the “Premier” group, as well as directors, photographers and leading masters of folk arts and crafts. The opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan will be held today at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.

6. The plane of the leading Japanese airline Japan Airlines was unable to take off due to the fact that there were 27 sumo wrestlers on board who were going to a national sports festival. The average weight of a sumo wrestler is 120 kg, which is much more than the weight of the average Japanese passenger. The airline decided to organize separate flights for the sumo wrestlers to take them to the island to participate in the festival and for the wrestlers to return home.

7. Australian teenager Charlie Eggins completed the puzzle in 12 seconds at the Rubik's Cube Speed Solving Championship. At the same time, the record holder spent only 7 seconds on actually assembling the cube; the first five were spent studying the mechanical puzzle. The teenager improved his previous result in solving a Rubik's cube by half a second.

8. Montenegrin specialist Miodrag Bozovic highly appreciated the work of Turkmen coach Kurban Berdyev. According to Bozovic, during his coaching career in Russia, Berdyev was one of the strongest mentors. “When I worked in Russia, I considered Kurban Berdyev the best. He became the champion of Russia twice, and at that time there was unrealistic competition. He won “Barcelona” and showed good results with “Rostov”. 9. The Turkmen delegation took part in the congress of the Asian Boxing Confederation in Bangkok. The results of the work over the past year, the prospects for the development of boxing in Asia and the preparation of athletes for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024 were discussed at the congress.

10. The return matches of the semi-final stage of the Turkmenistan Football Cup will be held on December 18. Let us remind that in the first matches of the 1/2 finals of the Country Cup, “Arkadag” made a strong bid to reach the final, beating “Altyn Asyr” with a score of 4:1. In another match, the current winner of the national Cup, “Ahal”, drew away with “Merv” - 1:1.

The head coach of the Turkmenistan national football team, Mergen Orazov, commented on the results of the friendly match against the Emirati club “Shabab Al-Ahli”, which was held within the framework of the training camp in Dubai and ended with a score of 4:1 in favor of the home team. Friendly matches are a great opportunity to evaluate our work, but also to see our mistakes. After each game, an analysis of mistakes is carried out, and this is the only way we can count on progress. “Shabab Al-Ahli” showed us in which direction we still need to work.
