In Turkmenistan, new specialties have become available for students entering universities and vocational schools this year.

This academic year, the Turkmen state Institute of Economics and management will train in such new specialties as:

• banking and money circulation;
• financial markets and financial security in the digital economy;
• digital technologies in trade and logistics;
• information systems and technologies (in Economics and management);
• the software of the computer system.

The Turkmen state Institute of Finance will also start training specialists in the field of international Finance.

At the Turkmen state University. Makhtumkuli will again train philologists of the Russian language and literature.

Starting this year, the Turkmen agricultural University will train specialists in the field of greenhouses, industrial fish farming, Agro ecology, and cynology.

The Turkmen national Institute of world languages named after D. Azadi will start studying Italian, and the bachelor's program in Russian and English Philology includes translation studies.

The Turkmen state Institute of culture begins training bachelors in the field of art management, as well as cinematography and television editing.

At the University of Engineering and technology. Oguzkhan is offered a bachelor's degree program in:

• Microbiology;
• technological entrepreneurship;
• Philology (English language and Japanese language).

The Institute of engineering and transport communications offers four new directions, three of which are aimed at training professionals for the transport and logistics sector:

• current composition of Railways;
• operation of loading and unloading equipment at ports and bus stations;
• ground transport and technological means;
• landscape design.

Universities in the country's regions have also expanded the list of areas of professional training.

At the Turkmen state pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi in Turkmenabat, the faculty of languages and literature has introduced the specialties of Persian and German, and you can also get higher education in the specialty of physical culture.

The state energy Institute in Mary will train bachelors in the following areas:

• management;
• information security;
• information and communication technologies;
• communication system;
• electric power and electrical engineering.

At the Turkmen agricultural Institute in Dashoguz, you can get a bachelor's degree in the following specialties: automation and management and information systems and technologies.

The country's secondary vocational schools have also introduced innovations.

Specialists in the field of management and logistics will be trained at the school of the Agency "Turkmenhovayollary".

Turkmenabat river vocational school of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" introduced the specialty of information security and power supply. 

The Balkanabat oil secondary vocational school of the state Concern "Turkmennebit" and the Mary oil and gas vocational school of the state Concern "Turkmengaz" will study the latest information systems and digital technologies from the new academic year.
