Irish airline Ryanair, one of Europe’s largest low-cost carriers, intends to review its expenditures. Through this, the company expects to save on fuel costs in 2027—expenses which are projected to potentially reach €2 billion, reports news.by.
The carrier plans to raise its rates; however, it is noted that this may not be enough. Consequently, the company is considering a temporary freeze on wages and limiting the hiring of new personnel.
Since the beginning of 2026, the airline's shares have fallen in value by a quarter.
