The CIET-2026 international exhibition has opened in Ashgabat

The international exhibition "Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan" (CIET-2026) has opened in Ashgabat. The event, timed to coincide with the Day of Workers of the country’s construction and industrial complex, is being held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of the Mejlis, members of the government, heads and staff of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of public organizations and the media. A welcoming address from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the forum participants was read out to those present.

Following the ceremony, the guests toured the exhibition. The display features stands from various ministries and state concerns—including the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the "Türkmenhimiýa" state concern, and the State Agency for Highway Construction Management—as well as from both domestic and foreign companies.

An "Architectural Solutions" gallery, featuring the best entries from the national competition, is on display at the venue. The winners will be honored on November 5th at the forum’s closing ceremony.

The opening of an international conference within the framework of CIET-2026 will take place this afternoon. The forum is being held from November 3 to 5. The program includes a conference, an exhibition, and pre-arranged B2B and B2G meetings. According to the organizers, more than 800 delegates from 60 countries have registered to participate.

The first day will also feature a plenary session titled “Innovation, Investment, and Growth: A New Era in the Development of Turkmenistan’s Construction, Industry, and Infrastructure,” as well as a UN round table dedicated to Sustainable Development Goal 11.

On November 4, sessions are scheduled on the energy and chemical industries, modern construction and architecture, investments, and public-private partnerships, as well as an investment dialogue marking the 10th anniversary of the company "Aýdyň Gijeler."

On November 5, a session will be held on digital construction, smart cities, and the workforce of the future.

The program and information on how to participate are available on the event’s official website: ciet-turkmenistan.com.
