During a telephone conversation, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sincerely congratulated the head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday. TDH reports this.

"The President of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on his birthday and wished him good health and happiness, as well as great success in his state activities for the benefit of the Turkmen people," the statement reads.

Mirziyoyev also conveyed warm greetings to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the publication notes.

"After expressing gratitude for the congratulations and best wishes, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan highly values its relations with fraternal Uzbekistan and attaches great importance to comprehensive cooperation with this close neighbor and reliable partner," the agency reports.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmen-Uzbek relations are currently developing actively and consistently, grounded in the principles of good-neighborliness, friendship, and mutual assistance, which reflects a high level of mutual trust and understanding.

"Taking this opportunity, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his personal contribution to the comprehensive development of strategic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan," the statement notes.

The President of Turkmenistan turned 45 on September 22.
