The international research and consulting firm Oxford Business Group (OBG) will join the partners of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2026 (TIF 2026) for the first time, serving as the event's Knowledge Partner. The country’s third international investment forum will take place in Ashgabat on October 1–2, bringing together representatives of government bodies, international financial organizations, investors, and the global business community.

Oxford Business Group was founded in 1994 and specializes in economic research and investment analysis of emerging markets. The company operates in more than 40 countries, combining an international research network with a local presence, and provides businesses and government entities with data for evaluating investment opportunities and making decisions. Its materials are used by international investors, corporate executives, and government leaders.

The organizers view OBG’s participation in TIF 2026 as a step toward expanding international expert and business engagement with Turkmenistan; the partnership is intended to showcase the forum’s investment agenda to a broader global audience and highlight the country’s appeal as a destination for new business connections.

In addition to OBG, the Turkmen-American Business Cooperation Association (TABCA) is listed among the forum’s Knowledge Partners. The organizers note that collaboration with international and expert organizations reflects TIF 2026’s commitment to substantive dialogue and the exchange of practical experience in the investment sector.

The forum’s business program includes B2B meetings, where participants can present projects and establish new contacts, as well as B2G meetings to discuss investment initiatives with representatives of government agencies. Thematically, the program will cover energy, transport corridors, the digital economy, artificial intelligence, virtual assets, green projects, agribusiness, tourism, and water resources.
