The Turkmenistan national boxing team among youth and juniors successfully performed at the Boxam International Tournament 2026, which was held in the city of La Nucia, Alicante Province, Spain.

The competition was attended by 246 athletes from 21 countries. The Turkmen team included 17 boxers in the U15, U17, and U19 age categories.

At the end of the tournament, 10 representatives of the Turkmenistan team won medals: three gold, three silver, and four bronze.

The gold medalists were:

Arslan Rejepov – 44 kg (U15) weight category

Yunus Masharipov – 66 kg (U17) weight category

Mukhammetsharif Masharipov – 75 kg (U17) weight category

Silver medals were won by:

Rustam Bakhramov – 46 kg (U15) weight category

Samir Saburov – 80 kg (U17) weight category

Atabek Hojayev – 52 kg (U17) weight category

Bronze medals were won by:

Ismail Mollaev – 46 kg (U17) weight category

Yazgeldy Amanmedov – 60 kg (U19) weight category

Ismail Orazmyradov – 80 kg (U19) weight category

Ezbermukhammet Myratdurdyev – 63 kg (U17) weight category

It is also noted that Yunus Masharipov was recognized as the “best boxer of the tournament” among athletes in the U17 age category.
