Turkmenistan is now accepting applications for the annual "Sanly çözgüt – 2026" competition for innovative projects and startups, which aims to support young developers, programmers, and inventors. Participants can present their digital solutions in seven priority areas that address the development of the national economy and the country's digital transformation.

The competition has been held by the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan since 2020 as part of the country's Digital Economy Development Concept. Its main goal is to encourage young people to create modern software products, innovative developments, and technological solutions.

Traditionally, schoolchildren, students, and young professionals participate in the competition, presenting their own digital projects. This year, the competition covers seven key areas: artificial intelligence, robotics and automation, smart agriculture technologies, smart cities, digital education and e-learning, digital medicine, and modern service solutions.

Submitted projects will be evaluated by a specialized expert committee. The competition results and winners will be announced at a ceremony during the international exhibition and scientific conference "Türkmentel – 2026," which traditionally takes place at the end of the year.

Applications for participation are accepted online through the official telecom.tm portal, where young developers and creators of innovative ideas can register and present their projects.
