Modern railway station buildings will be built in the Ahal, Balkan, and Mary velayats of Turkmenistan. Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Annayev announced this at a government meeting, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the construction of new station buildings is part of the country's socioeconomic development efforts. These steps will contribute to improving the industry's efficiency and creating favorable working conditions for its employees.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the country continues to modernize its rail transport. The head of state approved proposals to construct modern station buildings in three regions and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work.
