The meeting of members of the interparliamentary friendship group between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia took place on July 18 in the format of a video conference.
As reported on the website of the Mejlis, the parties emphasized that interparliamentary dialogue has become an important part of deepening cooperation between the two countries. The creation of interparliamentary friendship groups on a bilateral basis expands the opportunities for exchanging experience in legislative work and developing parliamentary diplomacy.
The participants of the dialogue expressed their readiness to support interstate cooperation through parliamentary diplomacy, strengthen the legal basis of these relations, and exchange experience in parliamentary and legislative work.
The parties agreed that the organization of working visits and meetings will be of great importance for the further development of relations between the two states.
