A fair of classic American literature translated into Turkmen will be held in Ashgabat on July 24. The event is organized jointly by the US Embassy in Turkmenistan and the country's government, the press service of the American diplomatic mission reported.
The book fair will open at 11:00 in the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan at 12 Archabil street. Visitors will be able to see an exhibition of works by American classics published in two languages.
The program of the event includes interactive competitions for readers, as well as a presentation of information materials about the USA. Admission to the fair is free for everyone.
