The "Arkadag" footballers arrived for a training camp in the Bulgarian city of Bansko. The camp will last until July 31. "Arkadag" is expected to play several friendly matches in Bulgaria. The dates and times of the matches will be announced later.
"Arkadag" currently leads the standings of the Turkmenistan Football Championship with 42 points.
During the summer transfer window, the current champion of the country strengthened its squad with three players from the youth team of Turkmenistan. Contracts with the club were signed by goalkeeper Seyran Ashirov, midfielder Ibragim Amangeldyev and forward Gurbanmuhammet Esenov. All the players previously belonged to "Ahal".
In autumn 2025, "Arkadag" will take part in the group stage of the second AFC Champions League, having earned this right as the winner of the AFC Challenge League. The club's opponents in the group stage will be determined by the draw, which will take place on August 15.
