Students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University completed educational and introductory practice in the laboratories of the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State Concern "Turkmengaz".
The educational and introductory practice included solving current production problems using a scientific approach, including: analysis of the component composition of natural gas, study of reservoir and physical properties of rocks, characteristics of drilling flushing and consolidation solutions, as well as development of proposals for the implementation of this data in production, reports ussatnews.com.
Future specialists took part in testing drilling fluids and chemical reagents, studied technologies for protecting gas facilities from corrosion, gas production methods, analyzed the composition of gas and gas condensate, conducted hydrogeological studies and work related to flushing and strengthening wells.
Within the framework of mentoring and training young scientists, the university's students also participate in research projects and laboratory tests in their fields of study, which contributes to their professional and scientific growth.
