Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov. This was reported by the diplomatic department of Turkmenistan.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state of Turkmen-Belarusian cooperation and expressed interest in further strengthening bilateral relations.
Particular attention was paid to preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC-3).
The diplomats stressed the importance of coordinating efforts on issues of mutual interest and agreed to continue regular consultations.
