American Councils for International Education has announced the opening of applications for the new Prep4Success English Language Teacher Program, a professional development opportunity for educators throughout Turkmenistan.
The program will be held in person in Ashgabat and the American Corners in Dashoguz, Mary and Turkmenabat.
Participants from the Balkan region will have the opportunity to join the group in Ashgabat online.
Over the course of six months, participants will follow a carefully designed curriculum covering key subject areas, including best practices in teaching test preparation, academic reading and writing, and public speaking.
Participants will also be introduced to skills such as using data analysis to assess student performance, providing clear instructions, using interactive and communicative activities in the classroom, and creating an environment that encourages student-centered learning.
The application deadline is July 19 at 5:00 p.m.
