The Russian Film Festival opened on Friday at the Berkarar Cinema in Ashgabat. The screening began with the cartoon “The Big Journey. Around the World”.
“Today we are seeing a wonderful campaign to popularize Russian children’s cinema. We are glad that the Embassy of the Russian Federation, together with Roskino, the Ministry of Culture and Rossotrudnichestvo, organized the screening of good family films,” said Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Inna Svyatenko at the opening of the festival.
The Russian Film Festival will be held in Ashgabat until March 30. The screening program includes children’s films, fairy tales and animated films: “Finist. The First Bogatyr”, “Tinderbox”, “The Big Journey. Around the World” and “Fire Fox”.
