The Zyýat Hil chain of confectioneries presents the classic Hungarian cake "Esterházy" in two original variations. The famous dessert, whose history goes back more than 100 years, is now available with pistachios and walnuts.
Named after the XIX century Hungarian diplomat Prince Pál Antal Esterházy, the "Esterházy" cake is traditionally made with layers of almond cakes sandwiched between delicate buttercream. Zyýat Hil's pastry chefs have put their own spin on the classic recipe, creating two versions of this exquisite dessert.
The first version is prepared using selected pistachios, which give the cake a special aroma and a unique pistachio hue. The second version is based on walnuts, which makes the taste of the dessert more intense and traditional.
A characteristic feature of the Esterházy cake is its recognizable design - the top of the dessert is decorated with a characteristic mesh pattern of dark and white icing, which has become the hallmark of this Hungarian delicacy.
