1. The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov arrived in Tehran on a working visit. The Turkmen side held talks with the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, the Minister of Oil and the Minister of Energy of the Islamic Republic. The high potential of bilateral cooperation was noted at the meetings. The visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to Iran continues.
2. These days, a group of young Ashgabat residents in need of rehabilitation treatment are undergoing inpatient treatment at the Arkadag Maternal and Child Health Center and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Rehabilitation Center. The method, known since the time of Hippocrates, is useful as a rehabilitation treatment for nervous tension, severe fatigue, diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
3. Turkmenistan intends to attract experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency as part of the construction of the International Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center in Ashgabat. At a meeting in Ashgabat, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova and Director of the European Division of the IAEA Department of Technical Cooperation Eve-Kulli Kala discussed current and prospective joint projects, including in the field of modernization of the radiotherapy service, updating the legislative framework on radiation safety.
4. A quadrilateral intergovernmental agreement on the creation of a transport corridor between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea is planned to be signed in 2025. This became known following a video conference with the participation of representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs and transport departments of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Romania. During the meeting, issues related to increasing cargo transportation and stimulating cooperation with all interested parties, including the European Union, were discussed.
