An international scientific and practical conference “Modern trends in the development of financial markets” was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management in Ashgabat. The forum brought together leading experts in the field of finance from many countries to discuss current issues in the industry, reports IIC.
The conference was attended by representatives of international financial organizations, economists, employees of research centers, ministries and stock exchanges, as well as teachers of specialized universities from China, Russia, Germany, Türkiye, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Lithuania and Romania.
At the event, participants examined the impact of financial markets on investment activity and economic development, as well as the role of banks in these processes. Particular attention was paid to the development of the securities market and current issues of digitalization in this area.
In addition, the prospects for the development of the banking sector in the context of digitalization and globalization, as well as the problems of investing in human development, were discussed.
