As part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Ayhan Hajiyev, a creative meeting was held between teachers and students of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan with representatives of the field of fine arts from Central Asian countries.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, among the guests who visited the Academy were: Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Akmal Nuridinov, teacher of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi, professor of art history Zhanarbek Beristenov, professor of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, people's artist of Kyrgyzstan Yuristanbeky Shygaevy, chairman of the Union of Artists of Tajikistan Nargis Hamidova.
The guests were given a tour of the Academy, they visited the university's gold fund museum, and toured the workshops where students study.
Each of the foreign representatives spoke about trends in fine arts, art history and opportunities for training young artists in their countries. The guests shared their good impressions of their stay in Ashgabat.
Having familiarized themselves with the conditions of study at the State Academy of Arts, the foreign participants of the meeting emphasized the great opportunities provided for the creative youth of Turkmenistan.
