Customs officers of Turkmenistan studied the experience of EU countries in the field of distance learning

A meeting was held for representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan to familiarize themselves with the best practices of EU countries in the implementation and development of methods and technological capabilities of a distance learning system to improve the skills of employees.

The meeting was held within the framework of the technical mission of the Border Management Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), funded by the EU, in Turkmenistan from April 24 to 25. The purpose of the mission is to develop recommendations and technical solutions for the implementation of the concept of distance learning in the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was held at the Training Center at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan with the participation of an expert group from the Riga Technical University. An analysis was made of existing technical solutions, software, equipment and infrastructure in the system of training and advanced training of employees. Technical solutions and recommendations for the implementation of a distance learning system were also developed, according to the website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
