The US Embassy in Turkmenistan has announced an open competition for participation in the “Fulbright Teaching Excellence” program for the 2024-2025 academic year. The program provides teachers with the opportunity to improve their skills and expand their knowledge of the United States.
Program participants will go on a 6-week internship in the United States, which will begin in January or September 2025. The program will provide lectures and training on teaching methods, lesson planning and the use of technology. Participants will also be able to attend classes of American colleagues and share their experiences.
The program fully pays for English language testing, visa, accommodation, meals, transportation and insurance for participants.
To participate, you must have a higher education, 5 years of teaching experience and a certain level of English. Priority is given to teachers of science, mathematics, English and other disciplines.
Applications will be accepted until February 16, 2024. This is a unique opportunity for Turkmen teachers to improve their skills and establish professional connections with colleagues from the United States.
