A tourist from Japan, having received a bill of almost one thousand dollars in one of the Singapore restaurants, was so outraged that she refused to pay and called the police, writes the AsiaOne portal.
As it turned out, the girl, in the company of five friends, ordered king crab. Explaining the cost of the dish, the waiter said that the cost of king crab was 27 USD per 100 grams, and the dish she brought weighed three and a half kilograms.
The police, not seeing any wrongdoing in the actions of the restaurant administration, could do nothing to help the tourist, but the restaurant, in order to hush up the incident, agreed to give her a discount of 107 USD.
