The head of the department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan took part in an extraordinary meeting of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry

An extraordinary meeting of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry was held in Tashkent, in which representatives of the member countries and observers of the UTC took part.

Turkmenistan was represented at the event by the head of the department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kemal Veliyev, UzDaily.uz reports.

At the meeting, reports were heard from members of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry on the further development of trade, economic and business relations, strengthening bilateral and multilateral partnerships in the fields of trade, industry and entrepreneurship. The main directions of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry were discussed.

It was noted that the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry is an effective platform for expanding multilateral cooperation between member states, including trade, investment, transport, energy, tourism, cultural and humanitarian exchange.

Within the framework of the event, meetings of the business circles of the Turkic states in the B2B format were also held.

The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Turkic Countries was established in 2023 on the basis of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry. To date, the First meeting of the General Assembly of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Turkic Countries has been held. This Union of Chambers is an international platform created to develop relationships and cooperation between the countries of the Turkic world. To date, five countries are members of the Council - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan. Hungary and Turkmenistan have observer status.
