Today, in the gallery of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, on the basis of the temporary exhibition of the culture of Chinese horse breeding and the art of white porcelain "Dehua", a thematic event "Enjoying the taste of China - let's meet and learn" was held, organized by the Embassy of the PRC in Ashgabat with the support of the Government of Turkmenistan.

The event was opened by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan, Ms. Zhong Hua. She noted that Turkmenistan and China have had close relations for centuries.

"The Great Silk Road that connected our countries was a bridge not only for mutually beneficial trade and economic exchange, but also for broad civilizational communication. Today, thanks to the exhibition of white porcelain art "Dehua" and equestrian culture, we are once again building a bridge and together revealing the deep connection between China and Turkmenistan through love for horses and craftsmanship," the diplomat emphasized.

The main event of the event was the moment of handing over to the Turkmen side on behalf of the Chinese Horse Breeding Association and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China a skillfully made saddle for horse riding - a gift to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The cultural event “Enjoying the taste of China - let's meet and learn” was very atmospheric, as visitors were able not only to participate in master classes on traditional Chinese decoration and painting of objects such as paper umbrellas, fans, toys, but also to receive memorable national souvenirs, which were generously prepared for the invited guests by the Embassy staff.

Pleasant music was played for visitors and refreshments were offered.

Let us remind that the exhibition of Chinese horse breeding culture and white porcelain art "Dehua" opened in early June. The exhibition will run until July 5, so do not miss the chance to enjoy the magnificence of the exposition.
