Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has extended his contract with Saudi football club “Al-Nassr” until 2027. The five-time winner of the “Ballon d'Or” will earn a record 263 million euros a year, journalist Tancredi Palmeri reported on social media.
The 40-year-old's previous deal with the Saudi club expired on June 30, 2025.
According to the journalist, the second place in the ranking of the highest-paid players is occupied by the French striker of “Al-Ittihad” Karim Benzema and the Argentine forward of “Inter Miami” Lionel Messi - 200 million euros per year each. The fourth place is occupied by the French forward of “Real” Madrid Kylian Mbappe with a salary of 77.5 million euros per year. Fifth place in the list belongs to Ronaldo's teammate - Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane, who earns 41 million euros per year.
Ronaldo has been playing for “Al-Nassr” since January 2023. During this time, the Portuguese striker has played 105 matches and scored 93 goals. The footballer also played for Portuguese “Sporting”, English “Manchester United”, Spanish “Real” Madrid and Italian “Juventus”.
