The new International Pediatric Center in Ashgabat will introduce advanced artificial intelligence technologies, which will significantly improve the quality of medical care, TDH reports.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a working visit to the capital, got acquainted with the progress of construction of the International Pediatric Center for 160 beds, where large-scale construction work is currently underway.

The Director General of the Directorate of International Medical Centers of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of the country S. Annanyyazova reported in detail on the current status of construction, the departments planned for placement and their equipping with modern equipment.

The center will be equipped with unique medical equipment from leading global manufacturers. A number of medical devices will be installed for the first time not only in Turkmenistan, but also in the region as a whole. The introduction of artificial intelligence will significantly improve the level of medical services and the accuracy of diagnostics.

Particular attention is paid to training highly qualified specialists to work in key areas: neurology, endocrinology, orthopedics, allergology and pediatrics. All rooms, including endoscopy, functional and radiation diagnostics, will be equipped with world-class equipment.

A distinctive feature of the center will be laboratory departments with the ability to quickly diagnose – within one hour – with the issuance of the necessary results.
