The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the List of medicines sold in state pharmacies to citizens who have concluded a state voluntary health insurance contract and pay the relevant insurance premiums, on preferential terms in the amount of 50% of the cost, and the List of medicines, medical products sold (dispensed) free of charge or on preferential terms. This was reported by TDH.
The document was signed ”in order to significantly improve the provision of the population with medicines and medical products”, as well as the implementation of the laws of Turkmenistan “On the protection of the health of citizens” and “On drug provision”.
