Chinese tech giant Huawei has unveiled the revolutionary Mate XT smartphone with a unique three-section design. This device can transform into a full-fledged tablet with a 10,2-inch screen and a resolution of 2232x3184 pixels, bigasia.ru reports.

Despite its impressive dimensions when unfolded, the Mate XT remains relatively light, weighing just 238 grams. The device is equipped with a powerful 5600 mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless charging.

The Mate XT's photography capabilities are as good as its innovative design. The main camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor with variable aperture and optical stabilization, which promises high-quality shots in a variety of shooting conditions. For selfie lovers, there's an 8-megapixel front camera.

The new product runs on the proprietary HarmonyOS operating system developed by Huawei.

The Mate XT is priced from CNY 19 999 (around 2 809 USD) for the base version with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage to CNY 23 999 for the top configuration with 1TB of storage.
