According to the annual report of the popular booking service Hotels.com, the list of things forgotten by guests in hotels around the world never ceases to amaze with its diversity, pravilamag.ru reports.
Among the standard items that are most often left in rooms, phone chargers, cosmetics, toiletries and underwear traditionally lead. However, some finds are striking in their value: in some cases, a Rolex watch worth $6 million and an exclusive Hermès Birkin bag were found.
But the list does not end there. The “lost things” category includes truly unusual objects: a pet lizard and a live chicken (luckily, both pets were safely returned to their owners), Ferrari keys, dentures, a car tire and even several construction pipes.
The report also reveals the most eccentric requests for room service from guests. Among them, filling a bathtub with Evian water, creating a custom menu for a pet, delivering burnt toast, ordering a hot dog with caviar, asking for fresh goat milk.
