In China, 24-year-old food blogger Pan Xiaoting passed away during her online broadcast, “AiF” reports with reference to NTK.
Pan Xiaoting, known as a plus-size blogger, conducted hours-long live broadcasts every day, demonstrating the process of eating huge amounts of food. Her streams often lasted more than 10 hours, during which she could eat over 10 kg of various dishes.
A post-mortem examination revealed serious changes in the girl’s body. Doctors discovered a noticeable abdominal deformity and a stomach full of undigested food.
As it became known, Xiaoting began her career in the mukbang genre (online public eating) after learning about this genre from her friend. Having seen how successfully he makes money from such broadcasts, the girl decided to follow his example.
