Young Turkmen fencers under the leadership of Jumanazar Dovletnazarov showed off at the Platinum Fencing Cup tournament in Almaty, winning 8 awards in epee fencing. The team has 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.

The achievement of Elif Abdullayeva, who became the winner in two age categories at once - among girls and boys born in 2014 and younger, deserves special attention. Such a unique success is the first in the history of Turkmen fencing.
Aysenem Matayeva won bronze in the individual competition for girls born in 2008-2010.
In the team tournament for girls born before 2011, the Turkmen team consisting of Elif Abdullayeva, Aysenem Matayeva, Zeynep Abdullayeva and Soyli Meredova reached the semi-finals, beating the Kazakhstan team with a score of 45:24. Despite the defeat in the semi-finals from Kyrgyzstan (33:45), the fencers won bronze medals.
Among boys born before 2011, silver medalists in the team tournament were Yunus Tahirov and Sanjar Yolomanov.
